Domaine de la Berthète Côtes du Rhône rosé, "Sensation" 2014 is the easy pink quaffer from winemaker Pascal Maillet, who's been running the Southern CdR domaine since 1993. A blend of 40% cinsault, 40% grenache and 20% carignan from 35 year old vines was vinified in stainless steel, allowing the chalky soils of the vineyards to show through and provide distinct backbone to this charming pink.

Wild strawberry and candy greet the senses on both nose and palate with medium body and just enough acidity to be taken seriously. Well, as serious as you want to be on a warm weather patio. A sweet perception finishes dry with citrus undertones and a lip smacking, satisfying length.
